Fintech start-up Capsa AI has landed $18 million in a Series A funding round co-led by TX Ventures and Pivot Investment Partners. Bek Ventures also took part in the fundraise, alongside existing angel investors and Antler, Outward VC, and Cornerstone VC.

Founded in the UK in 2023 by CEO Danyal Oezduezenciler and CTO Callum Downie, Capsa AI provides private capital firms with embedded AI-powered sourcing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and back-office operations solutions. Having witnessed 14x year-on-year ARR growth, Capsa AI claims to index “millions of internal sources and tens of thousands of deals… making decades of institutional knowledge instantly searchable”.

In January, Capsa AI established a US headquarters in New York and has since grown its team to 14 across both locations. With the latest injection of capital, the start-up has now raised $20 million.

Already claiming to be used at “several of the world’s largest private capital firms”, Capsa AI states it plans to roll out its services to major enterprises across the US and Europe.
