Chair of Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission resigning

The chairperson of Nebraska’s Medical Cannabis Commission announced she’s resigning from her position.
Monica Oldenburg announced during the commission’s monthly meeting on Monday she’s leaving her role. Gov. Jim Pillen appointed her to the commission last April.
Lorelle Mueting was appointed to serve as the interim chair.
Other members on the five-member commission include Robert “Bud” Synhorst, James Elworth and Michael Coffey.
