May 29, 2025

Prime Video has released the first images from The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which returns star Chris Pratt to his role as James Reece and also introduces Taylor Kitsch as Ben Edwards. Prime Video has also announced that the series will premiere on the platform on Wednesday, August 27. The first three episodes of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf will premiere at launch, with subsequent episodes premiering every Wednesday until the season finale on September 24. The show will hit Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. In addition to starring in the spin-off series, leading stars Kitsch and Pratt will also executive produce alongside Antoine Fuqua, Jack Carr, and showrunner David DiGilio. Tom Hopper will also star in the role of Raife Haistings.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is a prequel series to the original Terminal List show, following Ben Edwards (Kitsch) throughout his journey from a Navy SEAL to becoming a clandestine member of the CIA. Prime Video describes the series as a “gripping espionage thriller that explores the dark side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.” Similar to the first season of The Terminal List, the Dark Wolf spin-off also prides itself on its military authenticity, with military veterans contributing as writers, actors, technical advisors, and executive producers. The series is committed to delivering the most realistic portrayal of Special Operations. Also starring are Robert Wisdom as Jed Haverford, Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry, Dar Salim as Mohamed Farooq, Rona-Lee Shimon as Eliza Perash, Shiraz Tzarfati as Tal Varon, Jared Shaw as Ernest ‘Booker’ Vickers, and more.

The Terminal List star Chris Pratt recently caught up with Collider to talk about his new movie, Mercy, and he teased The Terminal List Season 2, describing it as “un-f****** real.” He also mentioned that they set a high bar in Season 1, one they plan to clear in Season 2, and that it will follow the sequence of the books. Production on the hit series is currently underway, and although it doesn’t have an official release date, it’s likely coming to Prime Video sometime next year.

The first three episodes of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf will premiere on Prime Video on August 27. Check out the new images above and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the series.
