The world of “Creed” is officially expanding into television.

Amazon Prime Video has ordered the drama series “Delphi,” which is set in the gym featured in the “Creed” film franchise. Exact plot details are under wraps, but the show is said to follow young boxers who train at the gym.

The announcement was made as part of Amazon’s upfronts presentation to advertisers in New York on Monday night at the Beacon Theater.

Marco Ramirez will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the series. “Creed” star Michael B. Jordan will executive produce under his Outlier Society banner along with Liz Raposo. Winkler Films’ Irwin Winkler, David Winkler, and Charles Winkler also executive produce.

In the “Creed” films, which are themselves an offshoot of the “Rocky” franchise, the Delphi Gym is operated by Tony “Little Duke” Evers Jr., the son of Apollo Creed’s longtime trainer Tony “Duke” Evers. Wood Harris portrayed Little Duke in all three of the “Creed” films.

Outlier Society currently has a first-look film deal and overall TV deal at Amazon MGM Studios. The production company is also developing a “Fourth Wing” TV series at Prime Video, as well as the Muhammad Ali series “The Greatest.”

Outlier Society is repped by M88, WME, 2PM Sharp, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.

Ramirez is no stranger to the world of boxing, as he recently created and served as showrunner on the Hulu boxing drama “La Máquina” starring Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna, and Eiza González. He was also the co-developer of the Paramount+ (then CBS All Access) reboot of “The Twilight Zone,” while his other credits include “Daredevil,” “The Defenders,” and “Fear the Walking Dead.”

He is repped by UTA and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole
