Cryptocurrencies Price Prediction: Ripple, Bitcoin & Ethereum — Asian Wrap 7 May

May 6, 2025

XRP price closed below its 50-day EMA level at $2.20 on Saturday and declined 2.21% until Monday. However, it recovered slightly the next day. At the time of writing on Wednesday, it hovers around $2.14. If the 50-day EMA holds as resistance and XRP continues to decline, it could drop to $1.96.

Bitcoin price surged to $97,260 after initially retracing below $94,000 on Wednesday amid India’s missile attack on Pakistan, triggering market-wide volatility. The initial BTC price dip had conceded India’s military assault on nine targets across Pakistan and the disputed Kashmir region.

Ethereum (ETH) saw a 2% decline on Tuesday following an increase in short positions ahead of the Pectra upgrade set to go live within the next 24 hours. While spot investors maintained a bullish bias, futures traders are leaning toward the downside potentially in anticipation of a sell-the-news event.
