TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke in Tampa Wednesday morning and was expected to address environmental issues.

Alexis Lambert, the state’s top official at the Department of Environmental Protection, accompanied the governor on the trip.

DeSantis announces $23.5 million for infrastructure projects

DeSantis has been traveling the state over the past few weeks. His last trip to the Suncoast was Oct. 27, when he spoke at New College, where he touted Florida’s education record.
