DLA Piper recently announced that Michael Dorf has joined the firm in San Francisco as part of the continued expansion of its Northern California corporate practice. Dorf is a veteran dealmaker with more than two decades of experience advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and other strategic transactions.

Dorf focuses on public and private M&A transactions, carve-outs, venture capital financings, strategic investments, and joint ventures. He advises public and private companies, sovereign wealth funds, and corporate venture capital investors across sectors including semiconductors, software, biotechnology, and other industries.
