Dockside Cannabis Bargaining Begins Soon!
March 13, 2025
Introducing our Bargaining Team! Emmy Bonagofski (Shift Lead)
We’re excited to announce that negotiations for our first contract will begin soon! Our Bargaining Team has prepared draft contract proposals informed by our shared concerns and priorities, and last week, Dockside finally sent us the information we needed to finalize them. We’re now waiting for Dockside to confirm dates for our initial bargaining sessions. We will share those dates as soon as we get them.
In the meantime, reach out to our Union Rep or a Bargaining Team member for opportunities to get more involved in winning our first contract.
Cannabis Growers just overcame a major hurdle on the path to equal rights under the law! House Bill 1141, which would allow Cannabis Growers to unionize, has cleared the State House. Cannabis workers who work in Grow are currently classified as agricultural workers and therefore excluded from the labor rights and protections granted to other Cannabis workers by the National Labor Relations Act. Call the legislative hotline at 800-562-6000 and tell your State Senator to support HB 1141, or sign the petition here >>
