ATLANTA — Inman Park is getting a new shop later this summer, and there are already high expectations.

Edible Brands, the parent company of Edible Arrangements, announced the launch of Edibles.com this week. With that came the news that the company plans to open a brick-and-mortar flagship store in Inman Park.

Somia Farid Silber, CEO of Edible Brands, and Thomas Winstanley, executive vice president of Edibles.com, told Atlanta Business Chronicle Friday that the store would be located on North Highland Avenue, across the street from Michelin-recommended Middle Eastern restaurant Delbar.

Farid Silber said Edible has signed a lease for the roughly 600-square-foot space. The company intends to open the bodega-style shop in late summer, or by the end of this year at the latest.
