HILLSBORO Ore. (KPTV) – Elon Musk was in Oregon this week, meeting with the CEO of Intel and touring the company’s semiconductor fabrication plant in Hillsboro.

Musk announced the visit on social media.

Last month, Intel announced plans to partner with Musk’s SpaceX and Tesla to operate a new AI chip plant in Texas.

The project is expected to cost about $120 billion, and aims to help the companies secure supply chain control over the manufacturing of AI chips.
