The Reserves and Afforestation Office of the Environment Authority has intensified its preventive efforts to safeguard the natural reserves in the Jazira region against potential wildfires during the summer and harvest season through removing dry grass and weeds, as well as ploughing the land surrounding trees to create firebreaks and minimize the risk of fire spreading.
