Equinox’s loss is your gain: Kiehl’s cult skincare is secretly on…
October 25, 2025
Last year, Equinox made a cut nobody saw coming.
The luxury gym brand stripped Kiehl’s products from its spas and locker rooms. And many members were, reportedly, in a state of mourning.
For years, Equinox regulars had sworn by the cult-favorite skincare line. Some even admitted to stealing a tub or two to offset the club’s sky-high membership fees. When Kiehl’s was abruptly replaced with products by Australian brand Grown Alchemist, gym-goers were up in arms. Many members posted to social media, and some pondered canceling their memberships after the news came out.
Kiehl’s isn’t new to the game. The brand was founded in the East Village in 1851, and the old-world apothecary brand has earned accolades from true skincare experts (no less than our own editors). Its luxe lineup includes scientifically-formulated face creams, moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners, and more products that come with a premium price tag. But today, many Kiehl’s best-sellers are on sale on Amazon, including the Ultra Facial Cream for 25% off.
Reviewers are obsessed; many claim that it’s gentle on sensitive skin, offers ample hydration in cold weather, and some insist it’s the only face cream that “works for them.” Over 10,000 units have sold in the last month alone, and it’s unclear how long the rare sale will stick around.
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream is basically a holy grail for the skincare-obsessed. Packed with 4.5% squalane and glacial glycoprotein, it helps keep your skin hydrated no matter what’s happening — whether you just stepped out of hot yoga or are braving a winter storm. Somehow rich but not too greasy, the lightweight formula helps support the skin barrier for a soft, effortless glow that is said to last for 72 hours straight. All it takes is a dime-sized amount, applied after cleaning and toning. The best part? It’s on sale right now, which rarely ever happens.
