Everything You Need to Know About Amazon’s Spring Sale for 2025

March 17, 2025

Amazon’s sales events are your chance to grab top tech products at sub-Prime prices, but the megaretailer is often tight-lipped about when they happen. That’s why smart deals writers like yours truly have their ears to the ground to pick up rumblings. Recently, moderators for Amazon’s “Seller Central” forums put out a call for submissions for a Spring sale, along the lines of 2024’s Spring Big Deal Days. With that, we can predict that a new sales event is upon us.

While Amazon hasn’t officially announced when this sale will be, a little investigation and deduction can get us close to the facts. Here’s what we know so far about Amazon’s upcoming deals event.

When Is the 2025 Amazon Spring Sale?

Amazon hasn’t officially announced the event, but if we’re going to use last year as a model, we’d predict Amazon’s 2025 Spring Sale to kick off during the last week of March and run through the end of the month. They announced last year’s Spring Big Deal Days in mid-March, so we’ll update this page when the word comes down with precise details.

When Do Spring Sales Really Start?

Although we predict the 2025 Amazon sale to kick off in late March, there are obviously going to be discounts to be found before then. We’d expect to see pre-game deals to start hitting Amazon this week. Other retailers will probably announce competing sales at the same time, including Best Buy and Walmart. We’ll cover all of them and compare prices to ensure you’re getting the best possible deal.

What Types of Deals Can I Find in the Amazon Spring Sale?

It’s Amazon, there’s going to be deals on everything. When we covered last year’s Spring Big Deal Days, some of the most popular items with PCMag readers were Apple’s second-generation AirPods Pro, a variety of Echo smart speakers, robot vacuums from iRobot and well-reviewed smart TVs from TCL. Amazon sales let big brands drop prices lower than they normally get. It’s also possible that Apple’s new iPads and MacBook Air models might get a discount.

Do I Need to Be an Amazon Prime Member to Shop the Deals?

Nope! Unlike Amazon Prime Days, the Spring Sale will offer discounts and special offers to all Amazon shoppers. That’s not to say that Prime members won’t get free shipping and the other perks that come with the service, but product prices will be the same for everybody. If you want to know more about Amazon Prime and whether it’s worth the cost, we have an up-to-date rundown here.

How Can I Get a Free Amazon Prime Membership?

You wouldn’t be reading this if you weren’t interested in saving money, so why not snag an Amazon Prime membership for free while you’re here? We’ve written a complete guide to five ways to avoid paying for Amazon Prime, with the most universally useful method being the 30 day free trial for new members. You can cancel at no cost at any time before the 30 days expire, which means free shipping for nothing. Unfortunately, if you’ve ever had Prime on your Amazon account before, you’re not eligible for the offer. If you’re enrolled in high school or continuing education, an Amazon Student subscription has the same perks with a six-month free trial at just $69 a year. EBT or Medicaid recipients can also subscribe at a discounted price.

Are There Early Amazon Spring Sale Deals to Shop Right Now?

There aren’t official early Spring Sale deals up yet, but we keep a close eye on Amazon offers on our deals page, and right now we’re seeing some deep discounts on Beats Studio earbuds, Samsung tablets and monitors, Apple watches and more. We’ll assemble a more comprehensive early Spring Sale deals list soon.

How Long Will Amazon’s Spring Sale Deals Last?

Last year’s Spring Sale lasted six days, and we’d expect this year’s to do the same, wrapping up before the end of the month. That means the company doesn’t have to run a deals event on April Fool’s Day, which can cause confusion. That said, sometimes deals do straggle on for a few days, and we typically keep up a listing of sale items for a little while after the event officially ends, along with a selection of the most popular items we saw discounts on for late shoppers.
