Everything You Need To Turn Your Space Into a Backyard Oasis Is Now Up to 74% Off
April 20, 2025
All the things you need to relax and entertain in your outdoor space.
I live in Oregon, which is known for being one of the rainier parts of the country, and honestly, I love it. There’s something romantic about the drizzle and the coziness it brings. I have to admit, though, that after months and months of wet weather, there’s nothing better than those first warm days of spring and summer. It’s a time for beach days, sidewalk chalk, and homemade lemonade. It’s also time for backyard barbecues, string lights for patios, and long evenings with friends around the fire pit.
We love to entertain, and I can hardly wait to break in the new backyard space. This year, we’ve moved into a new home, and I finally have the space to create a true backyard oasis. We’re refreshing everything — from barbecue tools and grilling accessories to comfy patio dining sets, wine glasses, and even marshmallow roasting sticks. Whether you’re building an outdoor kitchen or just updating your serveware for outdoor parties, it’s the perfect time to add to your space for summer hosting. These are some of the items I’m most excited about — and the best part is, a lot of them are on sale.

Biison Meat Thermometer
$50
$13
Whether I’m grilling steaks, seafood, or chicken kabobs for my backyard soiree, it’s important to have everything cooked to just the right temperature. I admit that I already have a meat thermometer or two tucked into my apron, but with a discount this great, I can’t resist just one more. With its ultra-fast and accurate reading, this thermometer from Biison is the perfect tool for getting every barbecued dish right every single time.
Serwall 7-Piece Outdoor Dining Set
$1200
$800
My family and I just moved into a new home, which means replacing old furniture pieces that no longer fit our new space, including the backyard. This season, I definitely have my eye on this great deal from Serwall. The seven-piece outdoor dining set includes six comfortable chairs and a generously sized table complete with space for an umbrella. I especially love the durability and all-weather materials, which are just right even on the rainy Oregon coast.
Outvue Outdoor Fire Pit
$130
$90
After a summertime barbecue, there’s nothing better than gathering around a fire pit with a few bottles of wine and some s’mores. Our last house had a built-in fire pit that I thought I’d miss terribly — until I saw this deal from Outvue. Not only will it create that magical campfire ambiance, but it also comes equipped with two grills and an attached tabletop for all of your campfire treats.
Arenarug Patio Rug
$90
$69
If your patio needs a pop of color like mine does, this outdoor rug from Arenarug is a gorgeously vibrant solution. With a boldly colorful floral design, this rug will dress up even the dullest of outdoor spaces. I really love the nonslip backing and easy-to-clean, fade-resistant material.
Unco Extendable Roasting Sticks
$6
My family is big on roasting marshmallows, and while there’s something charmingly rustic about using gathered twigs to get this job done, these extendable roasting sticks from Unco are a much more practical choice. Ideal for marshmallows, hot dogs, or even vegetables, these heat-resistant sticks are color-coded, comfortable to hold, and extend to 32 inches long, keeping little fingers out of harm’s way.
Cuisinart Electric Smoker
$250
$177
We’ve had our smoker for longer than I care to admit, and now that we’re in a new home, it’s finally time to replace it. This Cuisinart smoker is the one I have my eye on. With a spacious smoking area, three removable, dishwasher-safe racks, an easy-to-read thermometer, and precise heat control, this smoker is an excellent buy from a quality brand.
Addlon Outdoor String Lights
$43
$26
When the sun has set and these vintage-inspired lights turn on, that’s when the party really starts. String them around a pool fence, along the roofline, or in the trees for a warm and inviting ambiance that your guests will never want to leave. We’ve had these lights in every backyard we’ve had, and our new home is no exception. In my opinion, there’s no better way to create a beautiful outdoor space than with these lights. I love their warm, vintage glow, weather-proof durability, and ease of installation, no matter where you hang them.
Chumdecor Rattan Serving Trays
$36
$30
When serving food outdoors, glass and ceramic aren’t always the best materials to use. To keep things casual yet sophisticated, I like to use these gorgeous Chumdecor rattan trays. The set is crafted from sustainable materials and looks beautiful, serving any number of my backyard favorites, from hot dogs to cedar-planked salmon and strawberry margaritas.
Khen Plastic Stemless Wine Glasses
$25
$20
As with serveware, glass wine glasses aren’t exactly the best choice around patios and pool decks. That’s why I love this plastic set from Khen. The set includes four stemless glasses, each in its own lovely hue. I love that they’re simultaneously practical and elegant, which can be a tricky balance when hosting outdoors. The different colors are also tremendously helpful in keeping track of everyone’s drink.
Certified International Melamine Dinner Plate Set
$61
$36
No one wants a shattered plate of barbecued ribs all over the patio. These stunning Certified International plates are the best and most beautiful way to combat that concern. These shatterproof, unbreakable plates made of heavyweight melamine are my favorite choice for dinner outside, no matter what’s on the menu.
Cuisinart Wooden Grill Tools Set
$40
$24
When it comes to grilling, there are usually a lot of tools involved, and it’s nice to have a tidy way to keep them neat and organized. This season, I’ll be replacing my old and mismatched grilling tools with this handy set from Cuisinart. It includes an 18.5-inch spatula, a 17.5-inch grill fork, a 17.5-inch cleaning brush, a 18-inch tongs, four stainless skewers, and four corn cob holders, all in a convenient storage case.
Vencino Grill Basket Set
$50
$30
A good grill basket is one of the most underrated tools for grilling. I use mine constantly for everything from fish to vegetables to grilled fruits for cocktails. My family uses this set from Vencino, and we love the varied sizes, raised edges, and quality stainless steel construction.
