Wes Moore (D) a bill clarifying rules for marijuana consumption lounges, laying out a plan for a second cannabis licensing lottery round and letting owners sell their businesses to employees.The Illinois Senate passed a bill to clarify that police may not stop or detain drivers, or search their vehicles, based solely on the smell of marijuana—and to remove a requirement that cannabis be transported in odor-proof containers.The Maine legislature’s Criminal Justice and Public Safety advanced a bill to legalize psilocybin, though panel members were divided and a plurality supported amending the legislation to simply create an advisory commission to study the issue.The Pennsylvania Independent Fiscal Office is projecting more tax dollars to be generated from adult-use marijuana sales compared to what Gov.
