SCARBOROUGH, Maine (WGME) — Firefighters say a fire broke out in what was being operated as a cannabis facility.
It happened around 10 a.m. on Snow Canning Road in Pine Point.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke inside a residential building.
The building was occupied, but everyone got out safely.
Nobody was hurt.

Firefighters say the sprinkler system helped keep the fire contained within the room it started, and the damage was limited to that room.
