Nicole Kidman has found her next television role. After delighting audiences with her performance as Greer Garrison Winbury in The Perfect Couple, the acclaimed actress will be seen in Girls and Their Horses — a thrilling Prime Video television adaptation based on a novel written by Eliza Jane Brazier. The premise of the book is set in the competitive world of showjumping, where an ambitious family will be quickly immersed in the trade of the sport. Unfortunately for everyone involved, controversy and even an unexpected death with enter the picture, sending the Parker family into a desperate quest to find out the truth.

Eliza Jane Brazier, who wrote the book that will inspire the Girls and Their Horses series, will write the pilot of the adaptation. The author has also been recruited as an executive producer for the project. Jenna Lamia has been recruited by Prime Video to work as the showrunner of the series. Before she was recruited to bring the twists and turns of Girls and Their Horses to the screen, Lamia worked with Kidman during the development of The Perfect Couple.

No other cast members have been announced for the television adaptation of Girls and Their Horses. Nicole Kidman will be joining the series after playing a novelist in The Perfect Couple, the Netflix smash hit in which the protagonist is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families of Nantucket. Everything changed for Greer Garrison Winbury when a murder derailed her wedding plans. Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson and Billy Howle also starred in the successful adaptation that will now become an anthology series for Netflix.

Girls and Their Horses will allow Nicole Kidman to return to the medium that has brought her plenty of success during the current stage of her career. The actress was also seen as Margaret Woo in Expats, the Prime Video miniseries that followed the intense friendships and unpredictable lifestyle of an expatriate community in Hong Kong. The drama project was created by Lulu Wang.

Nicole Kidman also kept viewers glued to the screen thanks to her performance as Celeste Wright in Big Little Lies. A third installment of the series is expected to be produced in the near future, allowing Kidman to once again portray the retired lawyer and the mother of twin sons. Audiences can expect the same amount of intensity when Nicole Kidman appears in Girls and Their Horses.
