May 12, 2025

Fans of Clarkson’s Farm may be in for a bittersweet moment as the show’s future on Amazon Prime is uncertain. Jeremy Clarksonhas hinted that after the upcoming fourth series, which is due to premiere later this month, the show might take a hiatus, with the fifth instalment potentially being its last.

Currently, filming for the next series, expected in 2026, is underway, but the former Top Gear presenter has acknowledged that his team deserves a break , reports the Express. Jeremy told The Times: “I’d do a sixth if there was a reason for doing it, like a bloody good story… Whatever happens, we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.”

Despite the need for a pause, Clarkson dismissed any notion of retirement, candidly sharing with the publication: “I’d just be an alcoholic if I stopped working, what else would I do?” He continued, “I have no hobbies, I’m good at nothing.”

However, he expressed his enjoyment of juggling various jobs. The forthcoming fourth series will unfold over three weeks, featuring eight episodes, and will document Jeremy’s challenges following his acquisition of a local pub, including resolving initial hiccups, disputes with the council regarding planning, and dealing with customers who pilfer his glasses

Jeremy Clarkson will be farming solo for a while as his reliable farm manager, Kaleb Cooper, takes a hiatus from the show to embark on his own venture – a stand-up tour titled The World According to Kaleb. With Kaleb away, Jeremy recruits a new farm hand, Harriet Cowan.

Interestingly, the trailer for Clarkson’s Farm reveals that Harriet was oblivious to the TV series when she was hired by Jeremy Clarkson. Despite being thrust into the world of farming, Harriet adapted swiftly at Diddly Squat Farm, taking on a variety of tasks from feeding animals to building fences and even demonstrating impressive welding skills. These skills were highlighted by Prime Video as crucial in getting Diddly Squat up and running remarkably quickly.
