  • Gasgoo: On May 26, Faraday Future (FF) announced a strategic partnership with North American K-12 education group Redwood Education, signing a sales contract for 23 FF EAI robots. The two sides will collaborate on K-12 robotics curriculum development, teaching, teacher training, and youth developer programs.

  • Keji Technology: On May 26, Harmony lntelligent Mobility Alliance announced that deliveries of its new mid-to-large five-seater SUV, the AITO M6, topped 20,000 units in its first month on the market. The AITO M6 officially launched on April 22 with a starting price of 259,800 yuan, available in both range-extender and pure electric versions.

  • Gasgoo: Xiaomi Auto has officially introduced its “Xiaomi Auto World Model” framework, deeply coupling 3D reconstruction with video generation. Unlike the traditional approach of simply linking reconstruction and generation in series, this framework allows the two to structurally constrain each other: the reconstruction side provides geometric anchors to “lay the foundation” for generation, while the generation side fills in unobserved areas to “expand boundaries” for reconstruction, jointly suppressing long-term drift.

  • IT Home: According to a recent share by Dongfeng Motor’s R&D headquarters, three national mandatory/recommended standards, including the “Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Brake Assist System (BAS) for Light Vehicles,” have been unanimously approved. Led by Dongfeng Motor, the BAS standard marks the first mandatory national standard drafted by the company in the field of passenger car chassis. The Brake Assist System can automatically identify driver intent and instantly maximize braking force when the driver encounters an emergency but applies insufficient pedal pressure, significantly shortening braking distance and effectively avoiding or mitigating collision accidents.

  • Gasgoo: Recently, GAC Group, together with its partner Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC), held a brand and model launch event in Karachi, Pakistan, officially announcing its entry into the Pakistani market and simultaneously unveiling its “Pakistan Action” long-term strategy.

  • Gasgoo: Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) officially announced that its fourth-generation multi-function camera and the full range of sixth-generation radar products have secured numerous project nominations from leading domestic and international automakers, with several projects entering mass production recently. Notably, the fourth-generation multi-function camera is built on the Horizon Robotics Journey J6B chip. Thanks to superior perception performance, stable product quality, and mature technical solutions, it has successfully secured multiple projects from international automakers and Chinese domestic brands, driving a significant increase in order volume.

  • Gasgoo: Schaeffler will showcase its chassis and body technology portfolio at an automotive industry symposium in Biele, Germany this June, featuring new solutions for steering, damping, braking, and sensors. In terms of steering systems, Schaeffler will present rear-wheel steering systems and steer-by-wire systems with force feedback actuators, as well as new HMI input devices for future vehicle architectures. On the chassis front, new technologies include semi-active and active damping technologies that adjust in real-time based on road conditions, and low-friction wheel bearings designed to improve vehicle dynamics and energy efficiency.

  • Gasgoo: Shanghai Robbyant and GenRobot.AI recently entered a deep strategic partnership. According to the cooperation plan, the two parties will collaborate on data synergy across Ant Lingbo’s full matrix of embodied intelligence models. They will also jointly develop proprietary data acquisition equipment to continuously improve the precision and dimensionality of human data, accelerating the scale-up of high-quality, physically realistic data.

  • Cailian Press: On May 26, South Korea’s financial regulator stated in a release that Samsung has become the country’s most indebted conglomerate, with total liabilities exceeding those of the SK Group by the end of 2025. SK Group, parent of chipmaker SK Hynix, fell to third place, while Hyundai Motor took second place; followed by Lotte in fourth and LG in fifth. Overall, 42 conglomerates were identified as highly indebted, up from 41 the previous year. As of the end of last year, the outstanding bank credit balance of these groups stood at 386.9 trillion won ($255 billion), a 4.1% increase from the previous year.

  • Gasgoo: On May 26, ZERON, a new energy heavy truck and autonomous driving technology company, announced the completion of a $200 million Series B2 financing round. This marks another substantial funding round for the company just two months after securing its previous round in March of this year. Combined with the earlier 1.2 billion yuan financing, ZERON’s cumulative fundraising over the past two months has reached $400 million.

  • Jiemian News: Affected by energy supply shortages stemming from the Middle East conflict, rising fuel prices in South Korea are driving more consumers toward new energy vehicles. Data from the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association shows that by the end of April, the number of registered hybrid vehicles in South Korea reached 2.73 million, a 24.2% year-on-year increase. Hybrids now account for 10.2% of all registered motor vehicles, remaining above 10% for two consecutive months. Pure electric vehicles are also seeing strong growth, with registrations jumping nearly 40% year-on-year to reach 1.02 million, marking South Korea’s entry into the era of exceeding 1 million EV registrations.

  • Gasgoo: A recent announcement on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) website shows that the SSE Listing Review Committee is scheduled to hold a review meeting on June 1 to deliberate on Unitree Robotics’ initial public offering. Unitree Robotics commenced IPO guidance in July 2025, with CITIC Securities as the guiding institution. In November, it formally completed IPO guidance. This March, the Shanghai Stock Exchange officially accepted the application for the initial public offering of Unitree Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. on the STAR Market.

  • Gasgoo: Lightwheel AI‌ recently completed a new round of financing. The company stated that this funding will primarily be used for core technology investments related to physical AI data and evaluation infrastructure, continuously strengthening its capability for scaled delivery, and accelerating global market expansion and ecological cooperation.

  • Gasgoo: Embodied AI infrastructure company Guangdong Tianji Intelligence Systems Co., Ltd. recently completed 1 billion yuan in Series B and B+ financing rounds, pushing its post-investment valuation to nearly 10 billion yuan and securing unicorn status. This round was jointly led by Hillhouse Venture and Meituan Strategic Investment, with participation from Tencent, Gaorong Ventures, Photosynthesis VC, and GGV Capital. The funds will be mainly used for technological R&D, large-scale mass production, and global sales network construction, further cementing Tianji’s leading advantages in embodied intelligent core components, system capabilities, and product platforms.

  • Gasgoo: The Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the “Notice on Carrying Out Safety Hazard Inspections for New Energy Vehicles in 2026,” requiring relevant manufacturers to comprehensively review product safety risks and submit inspection results by August 31. According to the notice, this inspection covers five areas, including product quality and operational monitoring safety. The product quality safety inspection focuses on power battery systems and new energy vehicle quality. Regarding vehicles, manufacturers must verify the functional safety and Safety of the Intended Functionality (SOTIF) of combined driving assistance systems. This includes checking for fault records in sensors, decision-making, and execution systems, as well as system performance deficiencies and human misuse, so as to formulate targeted inspection plans and eliminate hazards in a timely manner.

  • Cailian Press: The “Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Shenzhen” was released, proposing to fully consolidate and enhance the global competitiveness of advantageous industries such as next-generation electronic information, new energy vehicles, new energy, and high-end medical devices. The plan calls for deep implementation of the “ICT+” action, actively laying out key areas like next-generation mobile communications and new displays, and strengthening full-category manufacturing of semiconductors and integrated circuits. It aims to expand the scale and technological depth of “Shenzhen-made” new energy vehicles, accelerate the “Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration” application pilot, and build a new generation world-class automotive city, developing a full spectrum of new energy intelligent transportation vehicles. Shenzhen will also accelerate the construction of a world-class new energy storage industrial center, promote the development of the entire source-grid-load-storage chain, and seize opportunities in global markets for new energy industries such as digital grids and high-power charging/discharging facilities. The city will provide full-chain support for the development of innovative medical devices in diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. By 2030, the value added of strategic emerging industries is targeted to exceed 2.3 trillion yuan.
