BATESVILLE, Miss. (WMC) – GE Aerospace is investing money into its Batesville plant as part of its plan to invest $1 billion into its U.S. manufacturing sites and supplier base in 2026.

The Batesville plant will receive $18 million of that money.

The $18 million will go toward upgrading production equipment and tooling to expand ceramic matrix composite components, additional inspection equipment, and facility upgrades.

“Maintaining U.S. aerospace leadership requires sustained investment in our people, our facilities, and the technologies that will define the future of flight,” said H. Lawrence Culp, Jr., Chairman and CEO of GE Aerospace. “This investment is for our customers, our communities, and our country.”
