GE Aerospace investing millions into Madisonville facility to produce Black Hawk helicopter engine

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) – General Electric Aerospace is looking to put nearly $1 billion in its factories across the U.S., including one right here in the Tri-State.
Officials say they expect to invest $200 million for military engine production in Madisonville and a different Massachusetts location.
They are looking to produce the new T-901 Black Hawk and Apache helicopter engine, along with other military engines.
Officials say nearly 5,000 workers will be hired across two dozen communities in 16 states.
