Go 4 It: Protect your identity and the environment
April 7, 2025
NOVI, Mich. – Our April Go 4 It action event is “Shred and Protect,” which is focused on protecting both you and the environment.
This event will give you the opportunity to protect your identity by shredding personal documents and protect the environment by properly disposing of e-waste.
Local 4 is teaming up with Corrigan and Human-I-T for this Earth Day event.
We will collect documents for shredding and e-waste items from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, at Corrigan — 45200 Grand River Ave Novi, MI 48375.
For shredding, we will accept paper only, up to 300 pounds per car. That’s about 8-10 small copy paper boxes. It is important you bring only paper in boxes, bags, or containers. No binders, garbage bags, or plastic bags mixed with the paper.
Staples, rubber bands, and paper clips are acceptable. Corrigan staff will unload your car and shred the paper immediately.
Corrigan is NAID certified and HIPAA compliant. As a AAA certified member of the National Association for Information Destruction, our facility is monitored 24 hours a day, undergoes unscheduled inspections each year, and our employees are background checked to ensure compliance. All shredded paper gets recycled into products like paper towels and toilet paper.
