Google, Meta, Microsoft Q3 2025 Earnings – AI & Cloud Analysis – News and Statistics

Google (GOOG, GOOGL), Meta (META), and Microsoft (MSFT) are set to announce their quarterly results after the market closes on Wednesday, followed by Amazon (AMZN) and Apple (AAPL) on Thursday. According to Yahoo Finance, investors will have to wait until next month to hear from AMD (AMD) and Nvidia (NVDA), which report on November 4 and November 19, respectively.

AI and the Cloud

The continued investments in AI by Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft, and how much they are paying off, will be a key focus. For Apple, the primary question is how the iPhone 17 line performed in its first few weeks of availability versus the iPhone 16. Apple’s market capitalization is nearing $4 trillion, and a strong performance could push it over that mark, making it the third company to cross this threshold after Nvidia and Microsoft, which has since fallen back below it.

AI and its impact on cloud spending will drive much of the conversation for Amazon, Google, and Microsoft. In a note to investors, UBS Global Research’s Karl Keirstead noted that discussions with cloud customers and partners were more upbeat going into this quarter than prior reports. Year to date, Amazon’s stock price has climbed just 0.03%, trailing Google’s 33.2% and Microsoft’s 24.2% gains. Keirstead writes that for the quarter, Google and Microsoft will post cloud growth of 32% and 39%, respectively, versus 17% growth for AWS.

“The key source of investor angst about AWS growth is around its exposure to AI, and not necessarily that it is losing material share to Microsoft for core or CPU-based workloads,” Keirstead wrote. The analysis points to Microsoft’s exposure to OpenAI’s demand for data center capacity and Google’s jump in Gemini use. Amazon serves as the cloud provider for Anthropic, though the AI company signed a deal with Google last week to use up to 1 million Google chips.
