SO ARMORY, KENTUCKY LLC IS IS A CULTIVATOR RATHER BASED IN MAYSVILLE, KENTUCKY. CULTIVATION STARTED THERE ON FRIDAY AFTER THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF MEDICAL CANNABIS INSPECTED THE FACILITY. AND ACCORDING TO THE GOVERNOR’S OFFICE, THERE ARE 26 CULTIVATORS AND PROCESSORS. PLUS PROCESSORS RATHER ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH. TWO OF THOSE ARE OVER HERE IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY. THEY’RE LOCATED IN GRANT AND BRACKEN COUNTIES. THERE WILL BE 14 TOTAL DISPENSARIES IN KENTUCKY. THREE OF THEM WILL BE IN NORTHERN KENTUCKY. STILL UNCLEAR WHEN DISPENSARIES

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said more than 15,000 Kentuckians with qualifying conditions have been approved for medical cannabis cards, but it’s not available just yet.In his Team Kentucky update on Thursday, Beshear said there are more than 500 authorized and registered medical marijuana practitioners in the state.While an exact date has not been set for when the medical cannabis program will launch in Kentucky, Beshear says it’s getting closer.“Each day, we’re getting closer to delivering on our promise of safe medical cannabis for Kentuckians in need – and I’m proud of the progress we’re making,” Beshear said.By next week, Kentucky will have approved licenses in every category of the process: cultivation, processing, safety compliance and dispensary.Additionally, Beshear said approved medical marijuana growers are preparing for their first harvest and some labs will be ready to test when the products become available.Beshear signed a law in 2023 that legalizes medical cannabis in the commonwealth. Kentucky is one of 38 states to legalize medical marijuana, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
