Gov. Beshear to attend groundbreaking for medical cannabis safety compliance facility in M

MAYFIELD, Ky. (KFVS) – Governor Andy Beshear is scheduled to make two stops in western Kentucky on Wednesday, May 28.

At his first stop, the governor will join local leaders and company owners for a groundbreaking on the State38 LLC Medical Cannabis Safety Compliance Facility being built in Mayfield.

Gov. Beshear will then travel to Madisonville, in Hopkins County, to help announce the launch of the West Kentucky Film Commission.

This includes the announcement of new industry initiatives, workforce development and opportunities for businesses and creatives.
