Governor Stitt signs bill investing $75 million for county roads and bridges

June 12, 2025

OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) – Oklahoma Governor, Kevin Stitt, has signed a bill that will give a historic, $75 million investment for county roads and bridges.

The new law is one of the largest single-year investments in county transportation infrastructure in state history.

It provides critical support to counties as they work to improve road conditions and address structurally deficient bridges.

It also bolsters rural and urban transportation networks Oklahomans rely on every day.

Under the bill, counties may access up to $4,000 per mile of county roads to support repairs and infrastructure modernization.
