“The City’s Rain Barrel Program is back for 2025, and if a quick look at the weather app on your phone is any indication, they will come in handy this spring.

The City partners with the Great American Rain Barrel Co. on the program, so residents can get a discount on the barrels.

New Bedford is among the many water smart communities encouraging residents to conserve water with the use of  rain barrels.
