Holyoke leader, business honored at regional clean energy gala

HOLYOKE — Mayor Joshua A. Garcia and Holyoke Gas & Electric received top honors for their leadership in advancing sustainable energy and boosting economic development.
On Friday night in Boston, the Northeast Renewable Energy Coalition gave Mayor Joshua A. Garcia its Mayor of the Year award. The group praised him for helping Holyoke grow with clean energy and for working to make the city a leader in sustainable innovation.
