Melania Trump, First Lady of the United States, is working on a documentary with Amazon to capture her life in the White House with US President Donald Trump. Melania Trump will serve as an executive producer on the Prime Video project, The documentary is due to be released later this year and has secured the rights for a whopping $40 million on Amazon.

Melania Trump said that the documentary will chronicle Donald Trump’s historic return to the White House. She said, “We started the production in November, and we are shooting right now, so it’s a day-to-day life, what I’m doing, what kind of responsibilities I have.”

The Wall Street Journal reported that Donald Trump’s December dinner at his Mar-a-Lago estate resulted in finalisation of the documentary. Melania Trump reportedly discussed the movie’s concept with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his finacee Lauren Sanchez during the dinner where the tech boss expressed significant interest and finalized the deal, as per the report.

Melania revealed that her eponymous memoir is the basis of the documentary. She said, “The book was such a success, and I’m very proud, and I get so many messages and letters [from readers] how they enjoy the book, and they would love, my fans and people, would love to hear more from me.”
