How Lauren Sanchez’s 3 Kids Were Involved in Jeff Bezos Wedding

Lauren Sánchez made sure her wedding to Jeff Bezos included her three children.
Vogue reported on Friday, June 27, that Sánchez, 55, was walked down the aisle by her sons, Nikko, 24, and Evan, 19, while her daughter, Ella, 17, served as her maid of honor. Ella, who wore a Dolce & Gabbana suit, also gave a reading during the ceremony.
“Ella’s original; she beats to her own drum,” Sánchez told the outlet of choosing Ella’s wedding look. “She had never had a fitting before, and she loved it. She’s going to look amazing. It has been the most fun dressing all the kids.”
Sánchez shares Nikko with ex-boyfriend and former NFL player Tony Gonzalez, who she dated in the early 2000s. The pair split one year after welcoming Nikko in 2001. She shares Evan and Ella with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell.
Ahead of the wedding, the family celebrated Evan’s birthday on Sunday, June 22, with a foam party onboard their super yacht.
It’s unclear whether Bezos’ four children — three sons and one daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott — had roles in the ceremony. Bezos and Scott announced their decision to separate in 2019 after 25 years of marriage.
Sánchez and Bezos kept most of their relationship private until news of their engagement broke in 2023. Sánchez made a rare public comment about Bezos while celebrating his 60th birthday.
“Look who’s turning 60! Happy birthday, baby! 🎉 ,” she wrote via Instagram. “Today is another day where your laughter fills our home, and that smile of yours lights up every room. Wishing you an abundance of simple joys and quiet moments of happiness. May this year be filled with everything you love, from peaceful mornings to joyous celebrations. I hope each day brings you countless reasons to smile, just like you give me a reason to smile every single day. Love you, and happy birthday, my love. ❤️🤍❤️.”
The pair arrived in Venice on Thursday, June 26, along with several celebrity guests before officially tying the knot.
The wedding guest list included Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, as well as Jenner’s daughters Khloé and Kim Kardashian. Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Vittoria Cerretti, who have been linked since August 2023, arrived separately.

Sánchez changed her name on Instagram to Lauren Sánchez Bezos soon after Friday’s ceremony. She also deleted every photo on her account and uploaded one from the big day. “06/27/2025 ♥️,” Sánchez captioned the photo, which showed the couple smiling as their guests stood around them and clapped.
A guest exclusively told Us Weekly the pair’s ceremony was “really beautiful and low-key” and “not over the top at all.”
