Now that we know Prime Day is running for a whopping four days this year (happening from July 8 through 11), we’re anticipating more epic announcements for the event. While it’s not confirmed, it’s possible Amazon will bring back the Prime invite-only deals program.

First introduced in 2023, invite-only deals give Prime members the opportunity to request an invitation to access special deals on everything from best-selling earbuds to sparkling water machines. These types of savings have only been presented during Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days (also known as October Prime Day), but the mega-retailer skipped invite-only savings during the October sale in 2024.

What are Amazon Prime invite-only deals?

These are select deals offered ahead of Prime Day that you can view by visiting Amazon’s deals page (At the time of writing, we haven’t seen invite-only deals pop up yet for Prime Day 2025, but we’ll update this piece if that changes). From there, you can click on an item you want and see if there’s a “Request invite” button, which will appear near the “Add to Cart” button.

How much better are these deals compared to Prime Day discounts?

Only a handful of deals were presented to Prime members in 2023 and 2024, so if they’re back, there’s a good chance quantities will be limited. The mega-sale tends to provide shoppers with the best deals of the year, but invite-only deals reached as high as 77% off. Here are a few examples of the invite-only deals from the past two years.

You need to shop around the site and see which products (if any) have invitation request buttons. Or you can bookmark this page and keep checking back in — we’ll update this piece with invite-only deals as they potentially pop up in the coming weeks.

Who can request access to invite-only Prime Day deals?

Any Prime member is eligible to request an invite — remember, Prime Day offers are exclusive to Prime members. You’ll want to make sure you’re signed up for Prime prior to the sale.

Once you send in a request, it’s unclear how or why Amazon chooses each invitee to get access to the special savings. But, you’ll be notified via email if you’re selected.

When can I request an invite for a product?

As soon as the invite-deals go live, you can request an invite for a product. In the past two years, these deals were only available for a limited time and ended a couple of days before Prime Day. You’ll want to act fast and request an invitation ASAP.
