Let’s address the Amazon Prime-shaped elephant in the room: I do a lot of shopping on Amazon Canada. How much shopping, you ask? Enough that Jeff Bezos owes me a complimentary trip to space, or, at the very least, a hand-written card thanking me for helping fund his elaborate Venetian wedding to Lauren Sanchez earlier this year.

In 2025, I made 311 Amazon purchases. The number shocked (and appalled) me, but as a woman recently diagnosed with ADHD with a penchant for impulse spending, it’s par for the course, baby. But instead of a shopping problem, I’m calling this research and development so that you can learn from my mistakes and make better shopping choices in 2026.
