What we like: This popular set has been a nostalgic hit for the last few years. Its elements make it look like a version of the DeLorean from any of the three Back to the Future films.

What to know: This would be the ultimate Father’s Day gift, but it actually does sell out frequently. And while I do often spot it on sale for 15% off, seeing it for more is a big deal.

What we like: This versatile set can be built as pairs of adult/baby animals including the dolphins that are pictured, but also crabs or seahorses.

What to know: You can only build one set of animals at a time, as they use the same bricks to make the three different creations.

What we like: While many of the botanical sets are designed for adults, this one is suitable for tweens as well, which makes it a great gift for anyone flower-obsessed.

What to know: This set was just released earlier this year, so it is exciting to see that it’s already on sale.

What we like: A lot of the Harry Potter sets tend to be of the castle, but this is my personal favorite set from the franchise, because it is a smaller detail that real fans will appreciate.

What to know: This has an interactive element, as you can grab the mandrake by the stems and pull it out of the pot.

What we like: I’ve gifted this set several times because it is so fitting for video game fans. The piranha plant is a signature staple in the Super Mario Brothers games, and makes great desk decor.

What to know: This set is for adults (because it is meant for display), but it isn’t a difficult build, so it’s a good gift even if someone isn’t super into LEGO.

What we like: One of the most iconic characters from Minecraft is the Creeper, and this gives kids a way to enjoy their favorite game in a screen-free way.

What to know: While we normally look for LEGO deals that are at least 20% off, this is very close to the lowest price we’ve ever seen on this popular set, so it’s still an excellent find for your Minecraft fan.

What we like: For the kid that is obsessed with dinosaurs and LEGO, this is such a good value. The bricks can be used to build a tyrannosaurus rex, triceratops, or pterodactyl. When they change their mind on which is their favorite, they can disassemble and build another dino.

What to know: This is a larger Creator 3-in-1 set, and it has a lot of posable elements like a jaw that opens and closes.

What we like: Under $20 for a Disney-themed LEGO set? This is almost too good to be true. He can be posed seated or standing on all fours.

What to know: Be prepared to have the “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” song play repeatedly in your head while building this. This particular set is scheduled to retire this summer, so if you want it for retail price, or on sale, get it soon.

What we like: Next to the botanical sets, the LEGO Art sets are some of my favorites. This one is a mini replica of the famous Robert Indiana sculpture.

What to know: It’s built in four separate letter pieces, so you can display it in multiple ways.

What we like: This is one of my favorite sets I’ve put together this year. It’s designed for the Disney adult who loves Easter eggs, like colorful nods to some of the most famous Pixar films hidden inside the ball.

What to know: This can be built with the lamp shining on the ball or with it stomping on the ball. It’s got some tricky hinge elements, so it isn’t the best set for beginners.
