LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 51-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop in Clarksville this week with more than 11 pounds of marijuana and 656 packaged cannabis products.

A Clarksville drug interdiction officer stopped Jeanie Richardson on Oct. 22 for failing to use a turn signal, according to a news release posted on the department’s Facebook page. That’s when the officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and conducted a search.

During the search, the officer found five bags of marijuana, along with 86 “marijuana products in various packaging.” Officers also searched her residence and found more bags of marijuana, along with another 570 packages of cannabis products, for a total of 656 packages.

Richardson, who lives near three schools, was issued a citation and ordered to appear in court at a later date.

According to online court records, Richardson already has pending court cases with charges that include dealing in marijuana, theft, robbery and burglary. She was scheduled to stand trial on those charges on Feb. 10, 2026.
