Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are most likely spending their Fourth of July overseas.

It’s been only a week since the Amazon founder and his new wife got hitched in Venice, Italy. After the ceremony, they celebrated their nuptials alongside their Hollywood inner circle, which included everyone from Orlando Bloom to Kim Kardashian, during an action-packed three-day itinerary.

After a few made a speedy exit back to the United States, Jeff and Lauren stayed back to spend a little more time in Northern Italy. They hadn’t left the city until earlier this week, and once they boarded the billionaire’s superyacht, their travel time was much shorter than that of their attendees as they took the celebration to the south of the European country.

According to the Daily Mail, sources have suggested the couple is enjoying their honeymoon in Taormina, Sicily. Bezos allegedly fell in love with the town last year when the couple sailed along the Italian coast and the Aeolian Islands.

It is rumored they will anchor in Taormina and spend the rest of their vacation at the San Domenico Palace, a Four Seasons hotel housed in a former 14th-century Dominican convent.

The hotel offers beautifully designed rooms with stunning views of the Ionian Sea, Mount Etna, and the ancient Greek Theatre. There are also suites available with private pools, which guests can indulge in if they prefer a more secluded area than the property’s clifftop infinity pool.

Aside from the accommodations, San Domenico Palace also offers the couple the sight of manicured gardens, exclusive experiences, and Michelin-starred dining. Rooms start at $2,000 a night.

The resort is widely recognized as the filming location for HBO’s hit drama series The White Lotus.

It is possible the honeymoon was orchestrated by Dolce & Gabbana. The Italian fashion house partners with the hotel every summer to redesign the space in its signature motif and open an exclusive pop-up boutique.

The designers also worked closely with the couple, specifically the bride, to conceptualize their wedding ensembles.

The couple has previously celebrated the Fourth of July away from the American coastline. Two years ago, the couple spent their first Independence Day together on his $500 million yacht, the Koru.

This came only two months after the two got engaged on the boat. During a Vogue interview, Sanchez said she found a pink diamond ring under her pillow after an intimate dinner.

Much of that summer was spent celebrating their engagement on the yacht with friends, including Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King, who also flew to space with Lauren this past April on the Blue Origin flight.
