Jeff Bezos’ neighbor slashes $50M off Florida ‘Billionaire Bunker’…

March 6, 2025

A shadowy figure next door to Jeff Bezos in South Florida’s ultra-swanky Indian Creek Village — aka the “Billionaire Bunker” — just hacked a cool $50 million off the asking price of a prime waterfront lot that’s been sitting empty.

Originally slapped with a $200 million asking price in December, the plot’s now down to $150 million, Ilya Reznik of the Reznik Group, which is handling the listing, told Bloomberg.

Reznik’s keeping mum on who’s behind the sale, but he’s betting big that Bezos’ star power will reel in deep-pocketed buyers for this slice of paradise in the exclusive, invite-only island packed with palm trees, a fancy golf course, and its own cops and boat patrol.

Bezos has been on a buying spree in the gated community, scooping up three pads since 2023, joining other heavyweights like Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump in the ritzy neighborhood where waterfront views are the norm.

The price drop’s got tongues wagging about the wild costs in this billionaires’ playground, but Reznik’s unfazed.

“Not too many people can pay this kind of money for the lot, but we have a number of billionaires who are looking at the property,” he told the outlet. “I think we will have much more action.”

Located at 9 Indian Creek Island Road, the plot of land is a 1.84-acre chunk of undeveloped waterfront dirt.

Despite the massive price cut, it is still a hefty sum to pay. But it’s not even the most expensive listing in the US — a massive waterfront estate in Naples, on the other side of the state, hit the market earlier in 2024 for a mind-blowing $295 million, later cut down to $210 million at the start of this year.

The Indian Creek parcel, nestled right next to Amazon titan Jeff Bezos’ trio of properties at 11, 12, and 28 Indian Creek Island Road, offers a rare shot for some deep-pocketed buyer to construct their fantasy mansion in one of America’s ritziest enclaves.

The elite island is home to just 41 residences.

The lot boasts 200 feet of Biscayne Bay frontage and killer views of downtown Miami — plenty of space to slap down a deep-water dock for a 180-foot megayacht, Reznik previously told The Post.

“It’s a perfect spot to build your dream home,” Reznik said.

He revealed the sellers snagged the land back in 2018 for $27.5 million, with plans to develop it, but life got in the way.

“They were planning to build, but then plans changed and they decided to sell,” he explained, noting the sellers are “private people” who prefer to stay out of the spotlight.

Reznik seems to think the mystery seller’s identity isn’t the big draw here.

“It’s more interesting to know that the land is next to Bezos than who the seller is,” he pointed out.

There’s even a “conceptual design-build plan” on the table for a sprawling 25,000-square-foot estate, courtesy of builder Manny Angelo Varas of MV Group USA.

The island’s star-studded roster of residents also includes names like Tom Brady, who has considered shopping his place, and financier Carl Icahn.
