Jeff Bezos Said No to Lady Gaga’s Wedding Performance Fee, Claims ‘Source’

June 30, 2025

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding reportedly didn’t include Lady Gaga’s performance due to the alleged whopping fee the singer demanded. The Amazon founder organized a billion-dollar three-day wedding celebration over the weekend. Around 200 guests, including A-list celebrities, attended the high-end nuptials in Venice, Italy. Many expected Lady Gaga to perform at the ceremony, but a source claimed that Bezos refused to pay millions to the artist.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding has become the ceremony of the year as the billionaire took over Venice for the nuptials. A-list guests, such as Ivanka Trump, Orlando Bloom, and Kim Kardashian, attended the three-day celebration. Earlier, reports suggested that Lady Gaga and Elton John might perform for the attendees, but the groom reportedly said no to the artists.

A source told Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop that Bezos’ team approached the singers for the event. “Each wanted $6 million for a single night. Jeff said, ‘Absolutely not,’” the insider claimed. However, a guest claimed that some of them “came for Gaga.”

Instead of the “Bad Romance” vocalist, the wedding guests grooved to DJ Cassidy’s beats. Another attendee told the outlet that the record producer managed to create a “luxe” vibe. “But everyone was waiting for Gaga to emerge from a gondola or Elton to descend from the sky in Swarovski,” they added.

Meanwhile, Bezos’ celebration became the talk of the town last week. While the couple picked a romantic location to tie the knot, locals seemingly found it troublesome. Due to security reasons, the City of Canals came to a halt, disrupting the everyday lives of the locals. Protestors rallied with anti-Bezos signs, which reportedly led to a change in venue for the wedding. Despite the obstacles, Bezos and Sanchez walked down the aisle on June 27 in the presence of many A-list guests.
