Judd Apatow isn’t grabbing his friends and wearing his florals.

The filmmaker, 57, roasted “It Ends With Us” stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s nasty legal battle while hosting the Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards on Saturday night.

“So much hazarai over such a terrible movie,” Apatow said.

He poked fun at Lively, 37, again by commenting on the box office success of “Wicked” and saying that “usually to make that much money you have to sue Blake Lively,” which generated laughter from the audience.

Apatow also made fun of Kevin Costner for his “Horizon” film series bombing in theaters. “Imagine being Kevin Costner’s kids and realizing you don’t get a trust fund, but you do get to watch Horizon one and two whenever you like,” he teased.

“Emilia Perez” was a target during Apatow’s opening monologue, as well.

“Hollywood hasn’t had a new idea in decades and then suddenly we cram all of them into one f—ing movie,” he said about the Oscar nominated film, joking that it’s the “first movie that Trump is trying to deport.”

“It Ends With Us,” based on Colleen Hoover’s novel, became engulfed in controversy upon its August 2024 release as rumors swirled over a feud between Lively, 37, and Baldoni, 41, who also directed the flick.

The actors have since filed damning lawsuits against each other.

Lively sued Baldoni and his associates for $250 million in December, making claims of sexual harassment — which she alleges included walking in on her breast-pumping for her newborn and speaking about his past porn addiction — and an alleged retaliatory smear campaign orchestrated by Baldoni.

Baldoni has denied the allegations through his lawyer, Bryan Freedman. He and his publicists countersued the “Gossip Girl” alum and her husband Ryan Reynolds in January for $400 million, alleging defamation, extortion and more. 

Lively’s lawyers denied Baldoni’s claims.

Baldoni is also suing the New York Times for $250 million for libel and false light invasion of privacy, after the newspaper released an article detailing Lively’s claims of alleged sexual harassment and of how Baldoni’s team allegedly tried to “tarnish” her image.

To refute Lively’s claims, Baldoni made public in his court filings a voice memo, a litany of never-before-seen text messages and a website outlining the timeline of events while filming the movie, claiming Lively took measures to gain control over the project.

The bitter legal battle has made headlines nationwide. It was even joked about by Chelsea Handler while she hosted the 2025 Critics Choice Awards on Friday.

“It is important in times like these to have a distraction, and that’s why I want to personally extend my gratitude to Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively,” Handler quipped.

“Thank you for providing us with that distraction,” she went on. “I’m grateful. I think we’re all grateful. And I think we’re good. I think everybody in this room, no matter whose side you’re on, we can all agree to accept that there’s probably not going to be a sequel.”

Lively and Baldoni’s trial has been scheduled for March 2026.
