Job seekers got more than a look at potential careers Wednesday at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.

Authorities are investigating a shooting that was reported late Tuesday in west Topeka.

The man accused of killing his father and sister had been ordered to stay away from their home, according to newly released court documents.

The 19th Annual Wine Tasting at Topeka’s Arab Shrine, 1305 S. Kansas Ave., is 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27, while their 10th annual car show is Oct. 11.
