Key policies find their way into Minnesota bill for environment

Shotgun zone elimination, $5 licenses for disabled vets, and a crossbow extension are among the policies included in the bill. (Stock photo)

On Thursday, May 29, the Environment and Natural Resources Working Group reached bipartisan agreement on its budget bill that includes a few policy changes.
As of Outdoor News’ press time Gov. Tim Walz hadn’t called for a special session. But the House and Senate members of the working group anticipate the bill passing without change when it hits their respective floors for final approval.
