The GEF-funded RIWE-Mono Project was launched in Gran Popo, Benin, on 30 January 2025, with the objective to  ensure the sustainable development and ecological resilience of the Mono River Basin through strengthened governance, capacity building in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), community-driven participatory planning, and enhanced cooperation between Togo and Benin.
