She’s set to walk down the aisle and wed billionaire Jeff Bezos at the end of next month in Venice, but it’s not the first time Lauren Sánchez has said ‘I Do’ or come close to exchanging vows with the love of her life.
The former journalist and soon-to-be Mrs Bezos, 55, has had a roller-coaster quest to find love, filled with a divorce, cheating scandals and three failed engagements.
Lauren has gone through a string of famous romances to finally find her one, with her star-studded list of exes including two NFL players, an actor and a Hollywood movie executive.
But it wasn’t until she cheated on her most recent ex-husband Patrick Whitesell, 60, with the Amazon founder, 61, that she propelled into mega-stardom.
As she prepares to tie the knot with the billionaire in a very star-studded wedding, we have recapped her famous past loves.

Her first famous boyfriend was sports broadcaster Rory Markas, who she met when she landed an internship at Los Angeles TV station Fox 11 Plus during college in the 1990s.
At the time when she met Rory, Lauren was a desk assistant at the television centre for two years.
The two even got engaged, but according to Page Six, she ultimately dumped Rory after she switched jobs.
The broadcaster was best known for his memorable call of the final out of the Angels’ 2002 World Series victory over the San Francisco Giants.
Rory, who survived a near-fatal blood clot in his brain in 2008, died from an apparent heart attack in 2010 in his home in Palmdale at the age of 54.
He died not married and didn’t have any children.
She then started dating NFL star Anthony Miller, after the two met at the 1996 Super Bowl when he was playing for the Denver Broncos and she was a rising TV reporter.
The pair were together for four years and engaged for one and a half before Anthony claimed that Lauren broke things off.
He spoke about their romance – as well as their split – exclusively to DailyMail.com back in January 2019, and he alleged that Lauren cheated on him.
‘I couldn’t really trust her,’ he claimed. ‘She gets around. She was cheating on me with other guys.
‘I found out when I looked in her diary, and I found out more after I broke up with her.’
He also called Lauren ‘frugal’ and ‘really cheap,’ adding: ‘She wanted me to pay for everything.
‘She was making good money back then, reporting for Extra and on Fox Sports News, but she didn’t like paying.’
However, sources close to Lauren disputed Anthony’s claims, insisting to DailyMail.com that it was him who was unfaithful.
Those insiders also called the athlete an ‘opportunist’ for speaking out about the relationship two decades later, right after Lauren’s affair with Jeff was revealed.
Lauren dated former LA Lakers star Derek Fisher, 50, on-and-off for a while after her engagement to Super Bowl winner Anthony was called off back in 2002.
A source told PageSix Sanchez dated the former LA Lakers star on-and-off for a while after her engagement to the Superbowl winner was called off back in 2002.
‘Lauren was with Derek Fisher for a while [after] things went south with Anthony Miller,’ the source claimed.
‘Then she traded up to ‘NYPD Blue’ star Henry Simmons, and they were engaged. Then she was getting married to Patrick Whitesell.’
After she and Anthony went their separate ways, Lauren started a relationship with footballer Tony Gonzalez, 49.
They welcomed a son, named Nikko Gonzalez, 23, together in 2002 before splitting.
Despite undergoing a rocky separation in 2002, during which Lauren and Tony threw a slew of cheating allegations at each other, the pair seems to have gotten over their tumultuous past.
The NFL star and Lauren have since been spotted on numerous outings together, along with their new partners, in recent years.
Lauren has previously referred to Tony as one of her ‘best friends’ and gushed about their co-parenting style.
Tony’s new wife October Gonzalez is a close friend of Lauren’s and even attended her bachelorette party in Paris this month.
The group has also spent a considerable amount of time on Jeff’s luxurious yacht.
Lauren reportedly dated actor Henry Simmons, 54, shortly after her engagement to footballer Tony was called off.
According to The Sun and Page Six, Lauren and Henry went onto getting engaged and lived together during the course of their year-long romance.
Henry played Detective Baldwin Jones on the ABC drama NYPD Blue for six seasons. He had a leading role in the CBS legal drama Shark, a leading role in World’s Greatest Dad, and the ABC-TV comedy series Man Up!
The pair were seen at red carpet events in 2002 together often.
She was pictured looking smitten with the hunk at the 200th episode celebration of his ABC drama NYPD Blue.
However, the pair made their last public appearance together in April 2003 at a Lakers game in Los Angeles.
It was reported Lauren called off her engagement with Henry when she met her ex husband Patrick.
Henry went onto marry actress Sophina Brown in 2010.
Lauren then entered into a relationship with Hollywood agent and Endeavor talent agency cofounder Patrick Whitesell, who is now happily married to wife Pia.
The two walked down the aisle together in 2005, and together, they had a son, named Evan Whitesell, in 2006 and a daughter, named Eleanor Whitesell, in 2008.
They were together for more than a decade up until her affair with Jeff was brought to light in early 2019.
While it’s unclear when exactly they started dating, Lauren and Jeff’s romance was first exposed by the National Enquirer in January 2019, while they were both married to their now-exes.
Soon after it was revealed, the billionaire businessman divorced his wife of more than 25 years and the mother of his four children, Mackenzie Scott, while Lauren left her husband, Patrick.
At the time, the bombshell report from the Enquirer claimed that Lauren and Jeff had been involved in an eight-month affair, which involved him ‘whisking his mistress off to exotic destinations on his $65 million private jet, sending her raunchy messages and erotic selfies, and having secret rendezvous at palatial private estates.’
The outlet said that it had tracked them ‘across five states and 40,000 miles, tailing them in private jets, swanky limos, helicopter rides, romantic hikes, five-star hotel hideaways, intimate dinner dates and “quality time” in hidden love nests.’
Following the Enquirer’s accusations, Jeff fired back by writing a lengthy essay to the publication’s CEO, David Pecker, in which the mogul accused the company of blackmailing him.
‘Rather than capitulate to extortion and blackmail, I’ve decided to publish exactly what they sent me, despite the personal cost and embarrassment they threaten,’ he wrote.
‘[After] intimate texts messages from me were published in the National Enquirer, I engaged investigators to learn how those texts were obtained, and to determine the motives for the many unusual actions taken by the Enquirer.
‘We were then approached with an offer. They said they had more of my text messages and photos that they would publish if we didn’t stop our investigation.’ He shared alleged emails sent to him by Enquirer staffers, in which they described the racy images they had ‘obtained during their newsgathering’ in detail.
Four years after their affair was revealed to the world by the National Enquirer, Bezos asked Lauren to marry him, with a pear diamond estimated to be worth at least $2 million.
Since then, the couple have flaunted their love around the world, holidayed aboard Bezos’ mega yacht and count the likes of Kim Kardashian as pals.
