Lions vs. Ravens on Monday Night Football: Score, news, live updates as Lamar Jackson, Jar

September 22, 2025

The Week 3 edition of Monday Night Football features the Detroit Lions in Baltimore taking on the Ravens. Both teams come in at 1-1, with the Lions looking for their first road victory of the season.

After dropping 52 points on Chicago last week, Detroit hopes to continue riding high against a Baltimore defense that uncharacteristically allowed 41 points in Week 1 against Buffalo but tightened things up against Cleveland in Week 2. Neither team wants to lose pace in the AFC and NFC North, so this should be a tightly contested battle.

Detroit’s offense got back to its old ways last week against former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and his Chicago Bears. Led by Jared Goff, the Lions posted 511 yards of total offense and seven touchdowns, five of which were thrown by Goff. After looking sluggish in Week 1, the Lions had some added motivation with Johnson coming back to town, and they used that as a huge advantage. It’s much less likely the Ravens’ defense will lay down in the same fashion as the Bears, so head coach Dan Campbell’s Lions will certainly have their work cut out for them in Baltimore.

Baltimore’s offense has been phenomenal in the first two weeks of the season, scoring at least 40 points in each game. The Ravens’ defense got back on track against the Browns in Week 2, holding them to 17 points and 208 passing yards, while forcing two turnovers.

The Lions’ explosive offense looks to be back after their demolition of the Bears.

Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson had a huge week, throwing four touchdown passes and moving into a tie with Aaron Rodgers for the highest career passer rating in NFL history. They’ll need a similar performance to keep this train rolling in Week 3.
