Gardaí seize cannabis worth more than €10m
An Garda SíochánaThree men have been arrested by gardaí (Irish police) following the discovery of cannabis with an estimated street value of more than €10 million (£8.7m).
A joint operation by Irish Revenue Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau seized 506kg of cannabis in a raid on a property in County Louth on Friday.
The operation formed part of Operation Tara, a Garda initiative targeting drug-dealing networks.
Three men, two in their 30s and one in his 50s, were arrested in connection with drug trafficking offences.
