Meta Platforms Inc., Amazon.com Inc., TikTok Inc., and five other major tech companies shared their latest reporting on children’s online sexual exploitation as well as their efforts to improve practices following an inquiry from a key Republican senator.

The companies resoundingly condemned child exploitation on the internet, highlighted their work to mitigate the illegal conduct, and noted their plans to strengthen identifying and reporting suspected cases to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, otherwise known as NCMEC, a national nonprofit dedicated to combating youth sexual abuse.
