Morgan Stanley believes a series of major events this spring may help reverse recent losses in artificial intelligence-related stocks.

The investment firm identified Google Cloud Next and Meta Platforms’ LlamaCon as key events for investors to watch. Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) will host Cloud Next from April 9 to 11, and Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) will follow with LlamaCon on April 29.

While Google is likely to discuss the integration of its proposed Wiz acquisition into the Google Cloud Platform, analysts also expect updates on new enterprise-focused AI applications. Meta’s event is anticipated to bring developments on its Llama model family, potentially including the release of Llama 4 and features focused on reasoning and agentic capabilities.

Beyond these April events, both companies have additional milestones lined up. Meta may launch an AI-powered search feature later this year, while Google’s AI momentum could continue through its I/O and Marketing Live events in May. Meanwhile, OpenAI’s GPT-5 model is slated for release later in 2025.

Morgan Stanley believes it could introduce improvements in reasoning, memory, and multimodal interaction. Other firms, including Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), also plan AI-related initiatives, such as new services through Alexa and Health AI, and updates at its December re:Invent conference.
