International customers who had their sights set on Meta’s Ray-Ban Display smart glasses will have to wait a little longer. Meta announced that it’s pausing plans to launch the glasses in France, Italy, Canada, and the UK by early 2026, due to “unprecedented demand and limited inventory.”
“Since launching last fall, we’ve seen an overwhelming amount of interest, and as a result, product waitlists now extend well into 2026,” Meta said in a CES blog post. “We’ll continue to focus on fulfilling orders in the US while we re-evaluate our approach to international availability.”
Meta hasn’t provided a new target date for its international rollout. In her review, The Verge’s Victoria Song said that the Ray-Ban Display smart glasses are “the best I’ve ever tried,” so this delay may be bitterly disappointing for international customers who have been itching to buy a pair.
