Sandhya Devanathan, Vice President & Head of India at Meta, will now also lead the company’s Southeast Asia business, expanding her responsibilities as part of a leadership transition within the Asia-Pacific region. The change follows the departure of Dan Neary, Meta’s long-serving Asia-Pacific chief, who will be stepping down after 12 years with the company.
In a LinkedIn post, Devanathan shared, “I am excited to share that Benjamin Joe is Meta’s new Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific from July this year. Ben is a 14-year Meta veteran, has been a key part of Meta’s APAC leadership team for over 12 years and I am excited for his leadership in leading the region for us. He will succeed Dan Neary, who will be leaving the company in a few months. Following Ben’s appointment, I am excited also to announce that I will take on additional responsibilities to lead our business in both India and Southeast Asia”.
Meta has also confirmed the elevation of Benjamin Joe to Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific. Joe currently oversees the company’s operations in Southeast Asia and brings over a decade of experience at Meta.
Commenting on the leadership changes, Neary said in his LinkedIn post, “Both Ben and Sandhya are exceptional leaders with strong track records. I’m confident that they will continue to drive growth and innovation for our valued partners and take our business to new heights.”
