Meta Platforms Inc. is seeking to fend off a potentially multi-billion dollar judgment from a group of users of the menstrual tracking app Flo Health who won a jury verdict this summer finding Meta violated their privacy.

Meta should pay $5,000 per class member as required by the California Invasion of Privacy Act, attorneys for the Flo users in a statement filed late Thursday to the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
