Mike Flanagan’s upcoming TV adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie has cast Kate Siegel and 13 other actors for yet-unknown roles in the horror classic. Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie is one of the most highly anticipated projects in the entire horror genre. The show is still early in development, but the main cast of Carrie has been announced, which includes horror stars like Summer Howell (Curse of Chucky) as the titular Carrie White and Matthew Lillard (Scream) as Principal Grayle. What This Casting News Means For Mike Flanagan’s Carrie TV Show
Flanagan Is Assembling An All-Star Team Of Frequent Collaborators & Massive Stars For Carrie
Many of the new actors tied to the upcoming Carrie show have already worked with Mike Flanagan in the past. Kate Siegel has appeared in almost all of Flanagan’s shows and movies, while Katee Sackhoff, Michael Trucco, Rahul Kohli, Crystal Balint, and Danielle Klaudt have appeared in projects like Oculus, Midnight Mass, Fall of the House of Usher, and some of Flanagan’s best horror movies and shows on Netflix. Flanagan already knows that these actors are exceptionally talented – he wouldn’t have cast them again otherwise – which means that Carrie is already stacked with a cast that Flanagan can work well with.

The newcomers to Carrie‘s cast are no slouches, though. Heather Graham, for example, dipped her toes into horror in tremendous fashion with Suitable Flesh, while Tahmoh Penikett had an early starring role in Trick r’ Treat. Mike Flanagan’s Carrie already has an exceptionally talented and star-studded cast, from the main characters all the way to its supporting cast, which is an exceptional sign for the show. Flanagan’s skills with the horror genre and more specifically with adapting Stephen King’s work, coupled with Carrie‘s outstanding cast, could easily produce a masterpiece of horror.
Our Take On Carrie’s New Recurring & Guest Stars
Carrie Has Not Made A Single Mistake So Far & I’m Incredibly Excited For It
I didn’t think I could get much more excited for Mike Flangan’s Carrie show. Flanagan has long been one of my favorite directors in horror, and the initial news about the main cast of Carrie painted a very promising picture of the series to come. This long list of talented new actors tied to Carrie, however, proved me wrong, and showed me that I could anticipate Flanagan’s show even more. I never doubted that Flanagan would be up to the task of adapting Carrie in a worthwhile way, and now I have no doubts that the cast is just as competent as he is.
